To be honset I have abit difficult to understand why this enrage people. Sure its a example of extremly bad taste, but it is after all an example of commercialism that deosnt hurt anything more than some peoples feelings. As long as the areas exploited are such that will not result in casualties (like AIDS medicine a little while ago) I think we should be thankfull for the respite.
Also I think that the person who may want this on his gravestone will be an artist with decilning career and a urgent need for publicity or something similar.

Allow me to play Devil’s Advocate a moment and state that, should I keel over this very second and be buried tomorrow, I want my tombstone proudly emblazoned with an advertisement for a video game (just as long as it's a good one, like maybe Warcraft 3 or Neverwinter Nights).
I mean, hell, I'm dead. I don't give a rat's ass what you slap on the stone that rests above my rotting carcass. You could advertise porn and I wouldn't pop out my grave to haunt you for it (I might even enjoy it). Now I wouldn't suggest doing such a thing to dear departed Grandpa Joe, but I think it'd be cool for someone who has good sense of humor and loves video games. The ultimate sign that "Here Lies a Gamer". But then I also want my tombstone to have a humorous inscription on it too, that way if I accomplish nothing in life, at least in death people will get a laugh. I'm strange that way.

There's an idea: be buried with an ad for Vivid Video on your tombstone. I'd do it only if I could get the Janine Lindemulder theme casket.

I believe the Mayor, the Chief of Police and any official involved in this mess should be charged with absurction (sp) of justice and be jail without bond.

What's wrong with you people? You mean you lot
don't go to visit the resting places of your dead relatives with a view to buying video games?

I know there's nothing like the anniversary of my grandpa's death for putting me in the nmood to go buy a new videogame.
IMO this is just a stunt. One in poor taste, perhaps, but a stunt nonetheless.

Indeed. The sick brains taste better.
