Thank you. I always tried to entertain my fellow SC players with my stories of Terran might.
Why am I strangely reminded of that episode of Red Dwarf where Rimmer regales Lister with tales of his Risk campaigns? :D :p

He only has the one, and because I bought it for him for his birthday one year. He did want it though. ;) It's the one with Dimension Jump, White Hole and Meltdown on it... all classics. :D

With a note that your ghosts not detected by the enemy :p and those nukes require lotsa manpower IIRC :D

@Aegis : A sudden strike of Deployed Siege Tanks which was caried with transport is also a devastating strategy if covered correctly with some diversions :D

Yes, Siege tank siege's can be quite devestating.

And, about the Ghost being spotted, the real trick is to discover which Ghost is the one with the nuke, and which is the decoy... I usually send in four or five ghosts, armed with two or three nukes. I'm dirty in that game...

For some reason, though, players don't like it when I sing "O Canada" during the nuking... :D

I suggest what we do then gentlemen is (when I get the game, hopefully very soon) that we do a tag-team Gamebanshee competition. I'll play the game a bit more and get used to some of the Terran weaponry and then start playing on-line. The Commonwealth buddies have to stick together so I draw Aegis. :D :p

Well, I prefer the Earth Force Directorate, but hey, why not. Also, I'm not sure how effective I'll be while using my mom's dial up connection. But, I'm willing to take on all challengers..

Perhaps it's time "Wraithraven" makes a come back.... :D

It's the Terran army from Brood wars, the REAL earth army, not just a bunch of exiled thugs (not that it matters in the game).

Ok, I couldn't handle it anymore. I jsut re-installed SC. Anyone wants to have a game at some point, my B-net name will probably be Aegis. If not that, then Wraithraven. Happy hunting! :D

Well, I just spent a bit of time online. Man, my skill has gone lax! I had never, ever before in my time playing, ever succumbed to a zerg or toss rush! (I play Terran, mind you, so thats one hell of a feat). I think I'm gonna need a few days to bring my skill back up to par. Anyway, look me up every now and then, the name is I_Sage. :D

I think you guys mean the UED, United Earth Directorate Commanded by Admiral Duegalle and Alexi Stukov. Pretty cool plot twist actually.

As for Aegis, I think Terrans are the easiest to play decently and hardest to play well. Presicion raids are definately their style. I like dropping stim packed firebats into an nme resource patch. mmm roasted drones!

I tried the new trick against carriers, and found scourges and hydras work the best. With a little micromanagement to fly 4 scourge into each carrier, it works well. Also, a good strat is to use a defiler to cast Dark Swarm over my hydras, protecting them from the range attacks.

Toss rush is the most effective strat in the game. There are very few terran players who can survive being hit by 3 zlots early on. Especially when that 3 becomes 5, then 8, then 12 hahah.

I'm a big fan of zlot push for toss early on, because so long as they stay on the ground, I can kill them easily.
Zerg, mass hydras is the best supported by guardians later on. Nothing beats that. Except psi storm (grrr  )

Terrans have awesome ground. Tanks, Marines and goliaths can really put a dent if used properly. On maps with little gas I use a lot of offensive bunkering to work my way in and protect my tanks from melee units.

My B-Net name is G-Rift.

Any one want any goodies from the market while they are here?

So I just stood and listened.
