When we discussed what we are going to watch for the first movie meeting next Saturday, somebody suggested Molin Rouge. It turned out two people had already seen it - one absolutely loved it and thought it was wonderful, whereas the other totally hated it and thought it was the worst movie she had ever seen.
That was my initial response, but then I heard from somebody I think has a very good taste in film, that it was good. Perhaps I'll see it later, although this thread isn't exactly encouraging meOriginally posted by Mr Sleep
@Moulin Rouge, it falls into the category of the films i hate the most, namely musicals. It also features Nicole Kidman who is very uninteresting. As far as i can see it would never be worth my time so i avoided it![]()
I can only agree with you and Ysh. He seems to have developed into a slightly better actor now than he was when he was very young, but actually that doesn't say a lot since he was terrible lacking to start with.posted by DW
Not that I find Tom Cruise very inspiring ...I've always considered him quite vacuous....
I don't think I know anybody who is a fan of either Kidman or Cruise.
