Just so long as you don't light it first, it's okay. Even if you do light it it's fine if you have a Massive Chug C0cktail first, that stuff gives you 100% fire resistance.

Besides, Eerhardt, Beldin and I have 25 Constitution, thanks to Beldin's stockpile of Manuals of Bodily Health. How else could we SLURR all day without having killed ourselves by now?

I can spare a few thousand brain cells for the sake of a good time. I've got more, and most people only use 10% of their brains anyway. That means there's 90% of your brain not pulling it's weight, so why not make use of it.

Now where's that drink...

If you take life TOO seriously you'll eventually break down and kill yourself. If you start drinking or smoking "herbs" - you'll die too, but it's a lot MORE fun !
