I was thinking 'Viv, bringer of hugs (or alternatively 'bringer of death' for Fas)' or some such name

I wouldn't mind being a techno nerd But, shouldn't I know how my computer works and what's in it? When I have troubles and go to those help sites...I don't usually know how to answer tough questions like 'How much RAM do you have', 'What is your video card' etc...
