Vodoo:
Ren & Stimpy

The single most fantastic thing I ever saw on TV after Monty Python´s Flying Circus. The episode where Stimpy falls in love with his own fart is surrealistic!
F.F.F. Brothers is also a killer. Do you like Crumb too?

Yeah, I like Crumb--Zap that I mentioned was one of his.
I like the episode of R&S where Ren is a rubber nipple salesman.
And the Don't Whiz on the Electric Fence episode.

And last but not least is the episode called The Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen.
Here are the words to The Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen theme:
"Our country reeks of trees,
Our yaks are very large,
And they smell like rotting beef carcasses.
And we have to clean up after them
And our saddle sores are the best.
We proudly wear women's clothing
And searing sand blows up our skirts.
And the buzzards, they soar overhead,
And poisonous snakes will devour us whole,
Our bones will bleach in the sun.
And we will probably go to hell,
And that is our great reward,
For being The-uh Ro-yal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen!"

For comics I agree with Maharlika :D The X-men (older ones)
I also liked the Submariner miniseries drawn by Jae Lee but that was for the stunning visuals not the writing.
The Sandman series is fantastic. I like Gaimans writing and the series shows a wonderful depth.
For comic strips I liked the Far Side, Calvin and Hobbs and Dilbert. I think my boss assumes Dilbert is a management training manual with pictures

The regular Conan comic or the magazine sized Savage Sword? I liked the Savage Sword with Chan drawing :)
Hellblazer was a good series too :)

Bill Sienkiewicz "Stray toasters". Best comics I've ever read.

My local library has V for Vendetta! We took it down with us on Leavers.

I quite like Leunig, even though it can be very melancholy at times.

BTW, by far the best song from Ren and Stimpy was the Log song.
"What rolls down stairs,
Alone or in pairs,
Rolls over your neighbour's dog.
It fits on your back,
It's great for a snack,
It's Log, Log Log!
It's Lo-og, it's Lo-og,
It's big, it's heavy, it's wood!
It's Lo-og, it;s Lo-og,
It's better than bad, it's good!"

Lest I forget...

... I just loved my fave comics heroes (X-men and the other X-groups) when they are in graphic novel forms! Image

I used to save a lot just to buy them... especially stories with Wolverine in it. Image

Too bad they all got burned when our house ended up in flames 7 years ago. :(
