Really? Looked like a wolf to me... Had my Mabari and a wolf fighting, and Morrigan was the only shapeshifter, and I'm pretty sure none of the others was a Ranger, and the beast looked exactly like the animal she changed into as she left whether it was a wolf or a dog. It certainly wasn't a Mabari, though. Grey critter, exactly like a wolf. :)

No, I don't like Loghain either. Nasty. In the only game completed so far, I let Alistair kill him.

Well, Alistair's not the brightest light on the Christmas tree, either, but he's much better to look at than Loghain. ;) And nicer.

My Human Noble character, Elyndra Cousland, would agree to that. :D

I know exactly what you mean! My dwarf female Rogue Tali... my elven female Mage, Raven... and my human female Rogue, Dusk, have all fallen victim to his charms... well, to be honest, they all plied him with gifts until he succumbed to their charms! :mischief::laugh: ;)

And my human female Mage, Rosalka, is well along the same path! Although, to be honest, I rather think she might take on Zevran before she gets too involved with Alistair... ;)

I mostly like aliistair because of his voice actor steve valentine and who doesn't like a lost prince that just screams side quests.

Yeah, I like his voice, too. I think the same actor does Anders' voice in Awakening, which I have just started. He has a very similar face to Alistair as well, besides a daft sense of humour like Alistair. I like him as much, too! ;) My girl doesn't give a darn that he's an apostate... (although, to be honest, I think calling mages who leave the Circle 'apostate' is a very, VERY loose use of the word. Apostasy: 'abandonment of belief or religious faith'. 'Apostate' mages haven't abandoned their belief in magic - which isn't a religious faith anyway).

Yup. I'm pedantic.

I haven't been able to play awakening yet because on my PS3 it said "Checking Downloadable Content" FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Allistair is mostly awesome because his templar talents(In-game) and out of game he's a new and fresh image to a game(although the main characters in both DAO and DA2 are much, much cooler)he still is cool because he has the most detailed background story out of all the companions(since it is in the main quest). :)

Arrrggghhh! :speech: So frustrating for you not being able to play Awaking due to download probs. How infuriating! I think I might have screamed... Um... you do know you have to be on-line to activate 'em, yeah? Even if you have it all on disc? Sorry if that's me being an amateur telling an expert what to do...

Yes, Alistair is good for all those reasons. He's also nice. Only problem I have with him, really, is he doesn't like taking the lead - but I suppose he has to be that way or he'd be fighting the PC all time! He makes me laugh, though, which is very important to me. I hate grim, stern, unsmiling heroes with not even a trace of a sense of humour! ;)

I don't have wireless broadband so I can't use PS3 Network :( And i have absolutely no DLC for DAO or any of my PS3 games for that matter  So I basically just hook my self on games that don't have DLC or are good without it like Oblivion,Red Dead Redemption and Dragon Age although DLC would be awesome.
