Well it is also the one of the websites I've made that I've like most myself (not the most visited - that was my old civ 2 site with about 1000 visiters per month )

That is cool How did you get that many visitors? Well i think the most hits i have of the sites i made is 2295 last i checked, i think there are others on 5000+ but they have been around for years and i am not really that proud of them Plus i can't recall their passwords
1000 for a non commercial site is really good

My site ( [url="http://www.angelfire.com/games2/aegis"]www.angelfire.com/games2/aegis[/url] ) had about 2000 hits (within a year an ahalf) before the free counter service crapped out.

search-engiens and there was (still is?) some bannerswapping sites out there I used - but most came from search-engiens (IIRC - Yahoo and Astavista)
In the 2 years I had that site running - I reached about 50.000 visiters , always been proud of that, but of course the topic had a lot of "fans", but my site provided a lot of info about strategies, units, terrains, advances, cityimporvments etc etc.
