The lead singer went solo, the one with the curly hair, who was in love with himself.

I can't remember his name, but he went solo from van Halen, i can only think of the name Eddie Taylor, but i don't think that is right.

BTW i am only 18 i shouldn't know anything about Van Halen :D

(Go Ahead Jump. Jump! . Go Ahead Jump)

The guy who sang that left the band and played a solo career (of a sorts :) )

Here's one for y'all: a few years back the kids next door (they were about 8/9 at the time) told me they saw Star Wars on video. And I said "I remember seeing that in the movies when it first came out." Ha, big mistake. "You saw that in the MOVIE THEATRE?!?!?!" they said, astounded. So I hobbled in to get my cane... </STRONG>
Oh, Dear God. I saw it 19 times when it first came out...

You know you're a child of the 70s when:

You can remember the bicentenial (USA), bicentenial quarters, bicentenial phone booths....

You can remember when McDonalds shifted from wrapping their burgers in paper (remember the cardboard rings that held the Big Macs together?) to the styrofoam containers!
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

You could get a job in market research.

Title you research.

"What effect does consistent posting on Message boards have?"

Perfect :D
