"Yes, he has a good bullet bump. The Doc. will be here soon. Let me know when he comes to."
Darkpoet carried Kramor to Gigi's room and put him on the bed. He stood back to let Gigi, to take care of him. Darkpoet closed the door and back to the office.

Ms T sent the Doc to Gigi's hotel room and followed DP back to the office. "Any idea who shot him? And where's Loner? She's usually right where KramoR is."

Gigi ransacked her room, looking for whisky, and finally found a bottle with a few drops in the bottom. "It'll have to do," she sighed, and wetting a rag she carefully tended to Kramor's wound.

A knock came at the door, and she jumped up to let the doctor in, watching anxiously as he examined Kramor.

Grabbing his rifle.
"I don't know, I'm going to backtrack the horse, see if I can find anything. Then I'll ride over to the ranch, have a look around. Did you talk to Bessie?"

"Yeah, but I didn't really find out why she's here. It seems alittle too cooincidental. She sure seemed to be moving a lot of whiskey crates though. Be careful DP."

"He should be fine," announced the doctor. "Perhaps a mild concussion. The whisky should keep the wound from infection." Seeing that Gigi had run out, he gave her a small flask. "There's not much more I can do, miss."

"Thank you, doctor," Gigi replied, walking over to the door with him. Opening it, they were faced with Ms T, about to knock.

"If you do, I'll let you do the paperwork. And, I take away your gun."
Smiling Darkpoet got on his horse.
"I'll see you in a little while."

He rode off and followed Kramor's horse tracks. Following the track, he came upon Tsai and freshly dug grave. Darkpoet told Tsai that Kramor is in town being taken care of a head wound. They both followed Raven's trail. They only got so far and lost the trail. They retraced themselves and then went back and forth. Both of were tired, Tsai said he would check tomorrow and let Darkpoet if he found anything. Darkpoet went back into town. When he got there, ordered the tub to be fill and then got in.

"Doc, thanks for your help." Turning to Gigi, Ms T asked "Did you see or hear anything that might help? Anyone hanging around the saloon?"

"I don't... No, wait! The Indian... I don't know why he would want to shoot Kramor, though... but that's the only person I can think of. I didn't hear any shooting, I guess Kramor's horse brought him to town."

"Thanks Gigi. Let me or DP know when KramoR wakes up.Oh and be real careful. Don't let anyone but us or the Doc into see him." Ms T left Gigis room, and walked over to the saloon. She didn't go in, she walked around the back. Seeing the door was open she looked in the storeroom. There were stacks and stacks of unopened barrels and crates. Gently prying the corner off one, she saw a lot straw, no whiskey bottles and an empty spot where something had been packed. She replaced the lid and went back to the office.

Gigi closed the door behind T, and locked it. She turned back to Kramor, and finished cleaning up the blood.

Darkpoet was relaxing, in the hot water. When he felt fingernails on his shoulders, leaving his eyes closed.

"I didn't expect you back so soon."

"Maybe you didn't expected me at all."

Darkpoet's eyes flew open, covering himself.

"How did you? What? Bessie what are you doing?"

Bessie just smiled, and dropped clothing, then climbed in the tub with DP.

"Dp." she cood. "Didn't you miss me?"

She leaned over and gave him kiss...........

"Hey DP..Did you find out anything?" Ms T hung up her hat and turned around. "Oops, I didn't know you were taking a bath." Her voice trailed off as she saw the two of them in the tub.
DP was frantic "T, This isn't what it seems like."
Bessie just smiled, "I decided to pay my visit at just the right time."

Miss Bessie got out of the tub and put her clothes back on. Smiling she leaned over and gave DP a big kiss. Then left smiling at Ms. T., whistling as she walked out the door.

Ms T tossed a nickel to Bessie as she walked by. "Isn't that your usual "tip"?"
Then she turned to glare at DP. "I knew I ought to have shot you!" She walked up to him. "And don't tell me that nothing's going on!" She gave DP a shove back into the tub. Dp was trying to interrupt her, but T paid no attention. She turned around and locked the door. She drew her gun, Dp started thinking about how he was going to get out of this alive. Ms T winked at him and put the gun on the desk. "I told you I should have shot her. Why is she so anxious to break us apart? By the way you missed a spot here." Ms T splashed DP with water.
OOC I have to go to work.KramoR I'll get even with you for that!

Loner awoke with a throbbing head and an ache in her left arm.

She reached over for Kramor, and he wasn't there. Her hand grasped a blanket that didn't feel familiar at all...

As her eyes focused, and she saw her surroundings more clearly, she grew increasingly confused. She felt as if someone was in the room...turning her head slowly, she saw Aaron, sitting and staring at her. He smiled.

"Aaron," Loner said thickly. "Wh--"

"Shh," he said, moving closer. "You're all right. Don't worry."

Then she started to remember. Blue -- fallen, probably dead...the dizziness, and Aaron's face before she blacked out...

"What happened?" she asked. "How...did you save me? Who jumped us?..."

Aaron smiled. "What happened, was meant to happen," he said. He reached out and stroked her hair. She turned her head away from his hand. "You will accept me. Some day." He stood and left the tent.
Loner looked down at the stinging spot on her left arm. It was red, and there was a light puncture...That must have been how they dropped me, she thought. She hadn't even felt anything...She remembered Aaron used to use those little darts...

Then with a kind of creeping horror, she began to realize what had happened...

Gigi sank into the chair by her bed, watching Kramor. She fidgeted restlessly with the flask the doctor had given her, resisting the urge to take a sip, and found herself wondering what had become of Loner...

Kramor started mumbling, Gigi got out of the chair and felt his brow. She notice he was burning up and shivering. She went and got another blanket, to cover Kramor. As Gigi, was putting the blanket on Kramor, he pulled her to him, holding her.
"Don't leave me, I'm so cold.", he whispered.
Gigi at first didn't know what to do. A smile played across her lips, "I'm glad I cancelled the show tonight." She sighed, looking at Kramor. "This might take all night." Gigi said as she pulled the blanket over them and snuggled in closer.
