I am but lurking. Reading and spam: goes together quite nicely. I'm pissed that Spring break is almost over though!

Actually the clerk was very absent minded... she's like, "Uh... you gave me... how much? Um... did I already give you the receit?" The posters were The Beatles and Led Zeppelin!

Yeah, maybe you start earlier in the year too? This academic year started at the beginning of October and ends late May/early June I think.

No, though I probably mentioned this convention before, that's probably what you're thinking of.

Good stuff, there was this time at EBGames I bought a game and... Well the guy was behind the cash register and he rang the game up, handed it to me and my receipt... Along with all the money ($50) I had just given him for the game. I effectively gave it to him and he gave it back. I couldnt believe it. I naturally walked out of the store as quickly as I could before he noticed.
What's the Zeppelin poster look like? I have one that's the cover from Led Zeppelin II.
@ Rav: It started at the beginning of september, so I'm guessing it kind of evens out at some point.
Ah, that must've been it: been waiting a long time for this then, I take it you're excited

Yeah, it probably does, I remember that I was waiting for ages for the University to publish the term dates last time around, they probably posted them on their website in September, they're always great at organisation.
Yep, I'm looking forward to it, makes a nice change at least.

Hahahaha
That's cool, you'll have to tell me all about it. I've never really been to any convention of sorts, nevertheless one devoted exclusively to webcomics.
@ OS: Ah yes I've seen that one before, it's the same one set along the inside of the Led Zeppelin IV vinyl. What's the Beatles one?
It better not be Let It Be
.
Yessir, same thing.

Thought so, they renamed it to GAME a few years back. They thought it was a better name.
One lacking imagination definitely, it's just gone downhill from there.
Oh well, I still have an EB branded CD-wallet, I could sell it on eBay as a relic of bygon ages one day...

*nods* I think it will be mainly going around tables, seeing what's on offer, that kind of thing, it's probably going to be expenive, one book I intend to pick up is going to cost about £14, I think.

How cliche of you OS, you've been hanging around Rav too much.
No I'm just kidding, I'll leave you and your Beatles alone. You must tire of me giving you a hard time for everything.

Hahaha, mindless commercialism at its best. It is more fitting, though, because at least the ones here sell nothing but games and systems anyways so an all encompassing term like "Electronics" is a bit misleading: my dad thought it was a radio shack-type store before he actually went in. He needed a TV remote after he broke the last one.

That's cool, sounds like fun. This item, is it a comic collection of sorts? I'd say 'comic book' but that's something different entirely...

Yeah, but what kind of a name is Game?
There's no Supermarket called Supermarket is there?
They used to have an entire wall devoted to PC games, now we're just lucky to have one or two displays of them.
And I even had to cut up my old loylaty card because they changed the name and reissued the cards...

It is a like a comic book really, just printouts of the comics that are on the Net, in a nicely bound paperback book with a couple of extra storylines in there...and signed of course.
Bye Kitten & Phreddie.
Well, at least I'll stick around for a while...
