It was a language glitch - probably due to speaking three languages on a daily basis...
But if Fiona wants some excuses

: I've been having a ladydog of a week, with a bad case of splatterpoo in the beginning of the week (I'm still not 100% OK), not enough sleep, inane discussions with some of the partners and having to do the extremely mindnumbing work of pouring over the vehicle logs of last month. EDIT: Oh, and since a couple of days its leaking in my office right behind my back (so if I lean back I get dripped on).

Maniupulation and seduction to gain what normal behavior might not net. If the place doesn't do tips, ever, was she just pulling out a jar from home so as to collect tips from guys she flirted with?

Yep yep, those workers get paid between $8-10 an hour, most are teens. It's not a job you get tips for. She just tossed a jar in front of her register after the manager left for the day.

I was so tempted to say something, but...we were getting about $20 in free food. Can't diss the help when they're paying for your lunch.

Wow, that is sooo wrong. I wish I was hot, 'cause I'd totally do that.

Frankly, this kind of manipulation across the sexes--and sometimes of the same sex--is common, probably more common than we know. You may think the girl's a skanky lil hoe, but she's using what she's got and taking advantage of all those guys. She may look like a slut, but she's got some brains (and probably some brass cahones, too, for doing that in blind sight of the other workers... does she share the tips for everyone or just keep it all for herself? Convince your friend to try some blackmail if not).

Yeah, well the thing is, she could make a killing as a waitress like my friend Rachel does. The girl's pulled in 183 dollars in tips on a 6 hour friday morning shift just last month. That's what, just over $30 an hour? ALL of the other employees can't stand the girl. It's one thing to do that when the job gets tips, when you're not allowed to and causing guys to flock to the counter so none of the other customers can get service, it's a problem.

I don't know, maybe it's from personal experience, any girl that dresses and acts like that, I avoid. The goods aren't worth the headache they cause, you know? I mean, if you want to use your body for money, become a stripper or a porn star. Don't go half naked to work and beg for tips from guys. The act she put on for the married guy with his kids there was disgusting.
