Anyway, you truly have warmed my heart forever, and I will have to spend the rest of the party making sure I hug every last person here.” *A few grumbles are heard in the back of the room, noticeably near the area Fas is standing.*

“But, I think there is ONE issue that needs to be cleared up. I’ve been voted most flirtations, which confuses me just a bit. You’ll have noticed I tend to ‘hug’ both women and men…so am I flirting with all the women too?? *remembers a certain kitchen incident with DW and Gwally and decides to go down that path no further.*

But as I was saying, hugs are not necessarily a flirtation. I *could* be hugging for a variety of reasons:

A) Infecting each reciprocate with a mind controlling substance to further my quest for world domination, which is what a ‘Succubus’ would do.
B) Because I’m worried about getting flamed, and hugging significantly reduces that risk. (Of course, with Georgi and Ysh out there threatening to rip people apart..I tend to feel almost safe)
C) You’re in my way and I’m really trying to pick you up and push you out of my way, but you’re bigger than me so it’s not working.
D) It’s a way of saying ‘Hi’.

Now as you see, none of those are with the INTENTION of flirting. I can’t help it if you all are confused or too drunk to notice the difference.

*With a final smile, Viv steps from the podium and begins hugging and flirting her way across the room. *

It was indeed Ysh. Sad times they were, I don't know what drew me to SYM at that point. I had lurked there on and off for a while but it was in your breathing space thread I posted in SYM for the first time. Back in the day when you used to spoon feed me Jameson. I've grown up so much since then.

SYM was understandably unusual back then...so many new people joined and shared..it was very heart warming in a way...

I am pleased to have been party to your maturing in SYM

- though I would have been happier if you had stuck to the teaspoons - since I would have to be less protective of the bottle!

btw - is that a Black Sabbath line I read in your sig?

Yes Ysh, it's a sabbath quote. I heard war pigs on the radio on the way to work this morning and was once again inspired to change my sig. My headbanging nearly caused four accidents on the freeway. One of the best drives into work in the morning I've had since hearing spinal tap on the radio.

*Kayless steps up to the podium* Wow, this like, such an honor. I'm not a great speechmaker, so bear with me. *Ahem* I’m just a really young guy who was fortunate enough to be involved with a lot of great people. (I’m never going to get through this in time.)

When I first came to Game Banshee over a year ago, there were no avatars. The Disco Frog was a sporadic addition to some of my more energetic posts. And now, a year later, look how far we’ve come.

I’d like thank the folks at Bioware and Black Isles, not mention Wizards of the Coast, for the games that brought me here to Game Banshee in the first place. Of course I couldn’t have done it without the Shadow Mages and their encouragement, as well as the inspiration from the Hell Orca and Spam Dragon. I can’t forget to thank Mr. Sleep, the technical supervisor who resized the Disco Frog pic, and special thanks go out to Weasel, Gruntboy, etc. and all you SYMers out there. I’d also like to thanks my parents, without whom I wouldn’t be here to have this award, the 70’s era, without which we wouldn’t have disco, and tadpoles, without which we wouldn’t have frogs.
