I'm thinking of hiring a person to hunt our elusive leedogg. The hit and runs have to stop. I suggest a hunt. A hunt for the leedogg. But be warned, a leedogg is no simple foe. It maybe armed and relatively intelligent.

@Thorin Why do you want to live in a place with a lot of traffic? I lived in Southern California for a while. The weather was very nice but I began to despise the solid mass of cars on the freeway day in and day out.

Depends on the age of the buck. You'll get a lot more for an 1881 silver dollar than for a modern hideous paper monstrosity. :)

@Azeroth, we'll have to start you on an accelerated program of intelligence-building. We will begin by placing you in a safe house, away from television. If the word "television" escapes your lips, you will be hammered by a large mallet which appears out of thin air. In this fashion, we will wean you from all dependence upon home theatre, while at the same time giving you that modern flat look which is so sexy.

Oh, that does sound like a good idea. But the only problem is that I don't watch very much TV. Except for the occassional Simpsons episode.

I can see we are related. I haven't watched television in thirteen years, except when I go to conferences and conventions, and for the odd Simpsons episode I catch. It has to be the justification for tv. Nothing else comes close. They break all the rules about how you're not supposed to be too dark in your comedy, or make any in-jokes, or be too smart. And it all works.

I'm still chuckling over an episode I caught a month or two ago that placed them in Japan. While convincing Homer to go, his wife says, "But Homey, you said you enjoyed Roshomon." "That's not how I remember it!" he shoots back. Of course, you have to know Kurosawa's Roshomon to get it--a story of a murder, told from four viewpoints, in which nothing seems to be the same, and reality is lost to sight. Damn, that was funny. :D

The reason I dont watch TV anymore is because it just pisses me off. Just one the show starts getting good BAM a commercial comes on. That and the media makes me so mad anymore that I just cant stand it. Now I just read John Grisham novels and other things that don't really provide any benefit.

Hmm...I must be related to you two, too. The only TV I watch is M*A*S*H reruns while eating lunch with my parents because that's what they put on the TV, though I will start watching the new Star Trek series when it starts up.
My parents~
You need to start watching more TV.
Reminds me of an episode of Sliders.
BartenderDude~
That's the problem with you kids today. You read too damn much and don't watch enough TV!
I'm happy to say that I do read too damn much. I can't afford to read as much as I do, especially with the rest of the shopping I do. The books I buy may only cost $5, but when you're buying 2-3 books a week, it really adds up. BTW, I just finished The Fellowship Of The Ring! :D Took a whole week or two to read it. I read the entire Dark Elf Trilogy and Icewind Dale Trilogy in less time than that. @.@

And this is bad why? :p

One of the things i love about where i live is the mere fact that it is all forest hill and country air, beautiful. Seems i am not going to move to NJ any time soon. :)

@SS, Fable & Azeroth. i watch quite a lot of Sky One's (uk digital channel) programs and i always watch the Simpsons (which is on about 5 times a day ) i hardly ever watch anything else apart from comedies. I think british digital channels are mostly crap but i do get a lot of films on it so it is worth it :) . The Sci Fi cahannel is pretty good, showing animé, horror and Sci fi which are mostly of some interest.

@SS Books, couldn't you just use a library? :p I tend to buy books on secondhand due to prices :( i cherish books but the monetary problem comes into it :(
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

I've tried the library. However, they only good library I've ever found is in Kerrville, Texas. I used to read about 2 of their books a week(read their entire Star Trek selection in less than two months). No where else that I've lived has had even close to as good a library. The only book I found at the library here in Coolidge, AZ where I'm currently staying is The Legacy. Thus, I have to wait until my trips to the Valley and buy books from Borders and Barnes & Noble. :( At least I'm not as monetarily deficient now that school has started back up. Don't you just LOVE government grants? :p :D

Yikes! 2 books a day? What do you read? Tiny tim goes to Toon town? :D Certainly not mammoth's like David Copperfield, or Moby D*ck?
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

If I had the time, I'd be doing that. But then I'd run out of money again. :( I can usually read a 500-1000 page book in 4 hours or less. I usually only get a couple of hours a day to read, so I tend to read books in about "2 days" time. :D I used to always be impressed by how fast I could read. Then I met my girlfriend. She reads like twice as fast as I do. :D
