My Avatar depicts the august King of the Koopa, Bowser (circa Super Mario RPG). An orphan raised by Kamek the Magi-Koopa, Bowser was able transcend his scarred childhood to become a mighty warlord who would terrorize the Mushroom Kingdom for years to come. Despite all his pomp and bravado, Bowser is truly a noble soul at heart, one who is able to forgive his troops when they desert him and even join forces with his arch-nemesis to defeat a mutual foe (play Super Mario RPG for details). Though somewhat overemotional at times, Bowser is nonetheless a crafty and courageous indivisual whom I have chosen to emulate with my choice of Avatar.
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.

I lost consciousness as soon as I arrived on the Game Banshee message boards. I awoke two hours later soaking in a puddle of my own vomit as shiny new Avatars danced merrily on my screen. I thought I was in an alternate dimension, where everything was the same, and yet different. Anyhoo, am I the only one with an animated Avatar?
