I know what you would do atleast. You would curse the ethic committee for not being allowed to knock in/out humans.

No, I wouldn't, at least not until viral vector mediated gene transfer into target cells works in humans too. Otherwise it's not so easy to correct if something goes wrong...

Bah, the Ethics committe are a bunch of rigid, myopic gits
