What are the lastest versions of Fallout 1 and 2?

Fallout 1, version 1.1?

Fallout 2, version 1.02?

I think Fallout 1 was never patched beyond 1.1.

Fallout 2 is updated well beyond 1.02. Official patches goes as far as 1.04, and then there is fanmade patches 1.05 and upgrades to 1.05 and so on. Also, in case of Fallout 2, if you have certain version of the game (European version, IIRC) and you don't have children in the game, you need special patch for that too.

I suggest searching patches from No Mutants Allowed - Your Post Nuclear News Center! as that sited should contain all the needed patches to both games. And before you ask, I definately suggest that you patch Fallout 2 to 1.05, as 1.02 is very buggy and stays such until to 1.05.

Thanks Kipi! That is a very cool site.

For Fallout 2, the "official" patches (one per language) seem to indicate v1.02 is the last official version. After that, there's an assortment of "fanmade" patches. Either way, using v1.05 is probably good advice.

Thanks again!

I'm currently playing Fallout 2 with unnoficial 1.05 patch.
You don't need any previous patches, you just copy this to your fallout 2 folder.

Oh, probably I just remembered wrong and 1.03 and 1.04 are actually fanmade.

But as Andrey said, you won't need those two, as 1.05 includes the fixes in 1.03 and 1.04, and it's more stable to install directly 1.05.
