Problem with disk?????

Post by Skiboarder »

For a while I have been experiencing this problem and have ignored it. But now there are places where it just keeps occuring over and over again. The error i receive is:

There is a problem with the disk you are using. It may be dirty or damaged.

This only happens whenever I go to certain places such as Border Watch and Echo Cave. (of course there are probably 4-5 other locations but those two stick out). Every time i go to these places my 360 loses sound for about 10 seconds, (still moving and performing actions) then the error message comes up. The disk is not dirty OR damaged at all. I went to xbox.com to find out what to do and nothing they suggested worked for me. (however i didn't delete all my saved game files as i do not think i have an MU available.). Does this happen to anyone else? All help and suggestiosn appreciated!

May not have a visible scratch but might have an invisible manufacturing defect. Most stores will replace a damaged disk if you take it back.
Can the answer to this question be "No"?

As a last resort, you could try a good cleaning kit, its worked on a couple of disk for me in the past, .....but a few it has not helped. :(
