Did you find that by accident or were you looking for new avatars?[/QUOTE]
I found it while looking at http://www.deviantart.com in order to show my brother the site. I offered to fund his projects to put his work up there if he couldn't find a job and wanted to paint in order to make some money until he found one. I stumbled upon this painting while doing so. I really want it for my appartment to be honest. The Grim Reaper plays a huge role in my religion and I WANTS IT!

I thought it was alcohol that played a huge part in your relligion?
Hmm, there was an album I was looking at, after I bought a small print. I'll see if I can remember the link.

Yeah, I meant to comment on that avatar. That is wicked. I wrote a short story about the Grim Reaper for class this year; it was humorous, but didn't turn out quite how I wanted, sadly.
And I have no idea why I chose to do that. I was chemically imbalanced and thought Rav had gone, so I went squishing bunnies. But LMAO at Magrus' perversion of that.

That is where that picture came from! I was wondering where yours was and where my searches went to.
I have been digging through their fantasy paintings for about an hour, things got blurry recently for me.
@ Chim, Amusing line of thought, no?
I want to buy a print. I like how it is done without showing the face. Most pictures I see are of some grotesque skeletal figure as the Reaper, which doesn't fit with my belief structure at all. This however, is different. I love it.

Yeah, most of the time the Reaper is some skeletal figure. In my story, he was just some regular guy. Wore a suit. Worked for a company. He got mad when people wondered why he didn't wear his hood and cloak and carry his scythe.

Well, not so much. I blamed the whole "Grim Reaper" image on the fact that the main character's father had to reap a few souls one night while dressed like that for a costume party. As did one of his work associates, who was dressed as a clown, which is how the fear of clowns came into existence.

I disagree, clowns are naturally scary, the fear did not arise from some costume party turned soul scavenger hunt. Nay, those infernal beast of the circus feast upon the mayhem that is the carnival. Seriously, nothing can be that happy, all the time, with out being some sadistic, pyschotic, loon who is about to unleash death and destruction upon the occupants of that overcrowded flammable tent.

I've never really found things to be scary in and of themselves, beyond when I was a little kid. I get the heebie jeebies from things sometimes, but in a causal sense. Like when I was trekking through some woods and almost walked into a big spider with a skull design on its back while it was hanging on its web. I wasn't scared of the spider, but the close call with colliding with the thing was shudderific.

Yeah, I can understand the heebie jeebies. That one place in Thief: Deadly Shadows will give you heebie jeebies the likes of which you'll never want to experience again. But you will cuz you wanna go back repeatedly to like the best level in the game.
Lestat, what was that quote you used to have as a sig? The one about not explaining the presence of evil in the world but explaining the presence of good. I tried looking it up but got nothing.

I think that God in creating man somewhat overestimated his ability.
