Clarity Against Fear

Clarity Against Fear

Does anybody know if the Wizard spell Clarity would protect against Fear? The description of the spell states that is can be used to protect against "mind-affecting" effects.

If not, then can someone offer some suggestions as to something that will help when making a Fear check? I hear that items that buff the "Will" stat help.

I can't remember for sure - but I do belive it will help against fear.

However, there are also many items in the game which offers immunity to fear. If fear is a problem, getting ahold of one of them would perhaps help you more.

clarity works for fear, but as said above, there are far better ways to be immune to fear such as specific items that make you immune to fear.

also, i may be wrong with this, but if i recall correctly protection from evil works against all mind affects from evil creatures, including fear.
