Question for theif character
Question for theif character
Once I got my own theif guild, I have to come back every five days to check up on my thiefs and then pay money to Renal Bloodcap, or else he takes away my guild. So I was wondering, what happens when I go on to ch3 and leave the city for a while, when I get back do I lose my guild? and another thing, what if I go to Renal's guild(building where he is) and kill him and wipe out his guild completely, will I have to pay anything to anyone then?
I'm playing an assassin character and even though I officially lost my branch of the thieves' guild, they're still working for me.
It's been quite a while since I paid my dues, and nobody's had anything to say about it. As a matter of fact, I just returned from the Underdark and all my thieves were there, ready to report and pay me. Maybe it's a bug. The only thing is that I can't sell or buy anything from the market guy inside--he tells me times have been rough and he doesn't have any money. Same thing will the watchman outside the entrance--all he says is it's a shame they've been closed down. But otherwise, it's been business as usual.

If you choose the Thieves way ..instead of Bodhi's way you cannot kill Renal.
It has to do with keeping the game moving forward.
Even when you have finished the underdark and come back to the city you still cannot kill Renal if you choose to go along with the thieves.
