Hello my fellow norseman....
Which class are you? If you are a spellcaster or a rogue with the Use Magic Device skill, you can take a scroll of remove curse and you will be fine.

Baaad situation - and one that I've been in, too. I hope your character can use scrolls... since there is no "remove curse" potion, only a scroll.
I was a fighter back then.
And thus screwed. Had to reload.
:::If your chara -can- use scrolls, chat the following:
## DebugMode 1
## dm_spawnitem NW_IT_SPARSCR402
## DebugMode 0
A scroll of "Remove Curse" will appear under your cursor.:::

Restoration does -not- work directly on "curse", but it can, little by little, restore your abilities to the normal level... so you basically cure the illness by curing the symptoms.
Still, judging from my experience, "lesser restoration" is entirely inefficient. I drank ~10 potions back then but was still cursed. Can't say anything about "greater restoration", but the problem is basically the same then, as there are only scrolls that do this.

*reads lesser restoration script*
Hmmm, judging from what I see, "lesser restoration" doesn't care for caster/effect strength. It simply scans the target for a list of adverse effects and then removes them. But curse is not among them, as it is -not- "composed" from several single ability decrease effects, but is instead -one- big effect. So, lesser restoration will ignore it, because it only affects "EFFECT_TYPE_ABILITY_DECREASE" penalties.
*reads restoration script*
Nope, ineffective as well.
*reads greater restoration script*
...yep, Greater Restoration would help (as it includes EFFECT_TYPE_CURSE ).
Funny factoid: For all I see, the player-accessible spell "bestow curse" does -not- use the curse effect that the monsters use on you. Instead, it lowers each single ability, so if you were cursed by a player, lesser restoration would work.

Well you can give it to him, but you can't bring him to use it...
Far as I see, there are really just two options left for you.
a) cheat-raise all your stats so they are 2points -above- the real level, thus the effects of the curse would be indirectly voided. You'd only have that curse icon sitting in the top right corner, but it would basically have no actual consequence then.
b) reload from a save before you were cursed.
<edit>
Indeed, the "Great Restoration" scroll is not limited to arcane classes. O_O
I never noticed -that- before.
Sooo... just adapt the cheating instructions from above and summon
"NW_IT_SPDVSCR701" instead. It's "Greater Restoration".

Far as I see, no. Judging from the script, even a level1-fighter wth a devastating cha would apparently be able to properly use the GreaterRestoration Scroll.
But then again - is there even something like spell failure when it comes to scrolls? (apart from the armor-based one of course, but that check happens independently -before- casting anyway.)
If there is a difficulty check like that, then it is not implemented in the spell scripts but rather hardcoded somewhere in the engine... bound to the "use magic item" skill, of course, but I thought that one only decided wether you can use an item or not.
