im getting a pc soon but i want to change my saved games from my mac bg2 to my pc. could this be done or is it impossible? or are there ways to switch mac files to pc files? I guess i wouldnt mind making a new char, but id relly want to have my mac Char to go on through tob
i looked down the mine shaft to see if the cart was coming

it was-epitaph on nashkel gravestone

I've not heard of it being done. If you wanted to, there are emulators you can use to run Mac programs on a PC, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.

You might try using a program like Shadowkeeper to make an equivialent of your mac SoA character with the same stats and equipment, that is if you are starting at the beggining of ToB.

I'd simply try to move them... after all saves are not part of the engine, they keep
only data and tables, chances are that the format is the same.
Worth a try, IMHO.
BTW, don't blame for any damage! :o :D

EDIT: to have a clue before trying, install on your PC and make a dummy save, then look at the files and their extensions, if all match with the MAC saves I'd take the risk :)
