The dwarf has to go through a great deal of training, beginning (at a very young age) with running, head-on, repeatedly, into solid walls. They have to be willing to be thrown off small cliffs, and to be flung, swung around, and battered to little purpose.

Excuse me, Sir. IIRC, dwarves come of ...

Ok, I have just come home from an evening with some friends of mine at our favourite pub. One of them plays BG2 as well, and somehow, we ended up talking about this dwarven thrower thing...
We both have no experience doing any BG editing, so this might be nonsense...

Wouldn't it be possible to ...

I always play as Vroom - not very creative, and not very fitting for a fantasy game, either. But that's just the name I identify most with - it has been my screen name since '94, when I first went online.

Actually, I don't really like it *that* much anymore, because it is stolen as well ...

...And abruptly loses the last eight courses of umber hulk stew and twelve helpings of goblin pie that it has consumed, all over your forces.

This is exactly what happened to The Black Prince, who let loose not one, but twenty-one halflings at the Pirate Citadel of Marcus Neiman during the Battle ...

I am wondering why nobody, neither here nor in the bd thread, and regardless of personal ammo preference (dwarves, gnomes or halflings), has considered applying a spin to the thrown subject.

This has several advantages:

- increased accuracy
- projectile is less vulnerable to driftwinds
- halflings ...

I realize that my original topic belongs rather in this forum... sorry. Just for reference, my original post:

I just wanted to post my 2 cents concerning the new board.
I really appreciate the new "Member" and "Exalted Member" ranking - if you really want to know, you can always take a look at the ...

BG1/Macintosh --> BG2/PC

I haven't played BG1 yet, and plan to buy it. One thing I want to do (of course) is to play the same character through both games.
I own a PC for running tests (I'm a graphic designer/web developer) and for games. However, I feel more comfortable with my Mac, and would buy the Mac version of BG1 ...

After Underdark: bug or screwed plot?

I have just returned from the Underdark, where I skipped the Mind Flayer dungeon.

When I came back to my stronghold (planar sphere) the first strange thing happened: I had to give that guy the silver blade because everytime I tried to fight him for it, the game started what seemed to be a scripted ...
