K, i fixed my prob, maybe this will fix yours too. I went to the windows start menu, and went into the Black Isle folder, to IWD2, then to the install/uninstall option. Then a pop up came up, asking if I wanted to modify, repair or remove the program. I chose repair, and it fixed the prob for me.

I didn't see this thread. I have the same prob. WHen I try to memorize a spell/or view a weapon via right clicking on it, it freezes.

Whenever I go into the item screen, and I right click on an item, be it a weapon to see it's info, or a spell for my mage to memorize, the game freezes. Is there somthing I can do to get around this problem?

Come back after you recruit the sorcorer Jarial, and level up a bit. Then you have 2 mages casting magic missile at the wraith.

Go back to where you first entere the dungeon, there is a second door that lead to the bottem left

I've had that happen, here's what you do to avoid that happening
stay in the current room and let the undead come to you, if you fight them out in the hall where the statue is, it gets activated, and if you kill it the game glitches

that happened to me once, you can't get in there now, game glitch, you can only start over, but there isn't much down that way, some low level undead, a few orcs, and a wraith guarding some unimportant treasure

Nottle gets that sledge and a few other items automaticaly
I've sold the sledge to him or the ormyyrs, and only became an item in his inventory later in the game

I've never had that glitch yet, but I've had the one with the naga's blood, a vial went missing, and I somehow lost Hachaam Shalorn's bane blade from my inventory, all of that happened ont the same game, but never happened on other times playing the game

somthing on that level triggers his appearance, I beleive it's either taking out the drow, taking out the naga and company or going through the door to Stillwater in the naga's lair

dreadsword daemonic is the best, it's a two handed sword, 4d6+6 damage, +5 hit, boosts strength and other goodies

paladin/monk ability to turn dead, use clerical magic, all weapons ...

off the top of my head, there are one of each of those barrels in the main halls, I either constitution has two on that floor
there are wells that once the quest linked to them is finished will give you a boost to your constitution, charisma, and wisdom
there is another well that will boost ...

if you go to the item screen, right click on the mace, which is called wings of dominion(not the name of the spell), it will give a description, and say how many charges of the particular spell it bestowed upon it

no hidden NPC's

there are plenty of chests later on you can stash things in, i liked the one next to the ruined tower in stillwater, as I went there troughout the game

Beriand might be able to cure it when he gets his staff back, but i duno, no one ever used blind on me before

two fighters, one with an AC of 23, the other who is the attacker has +9 to hit
so rolling a 20 sided die to attack(which the computer does for you), the attacker must roll 14 or higher to hit the man with the AC of 23( roll of 14 + attack bonus of +9= 23)
so the higher the attack ...

I kinda thought it looked cool, like some magic blade or somthing
