Thanks for the suggestions, and i have tried them all, but no success. There is noone at all in the flaming fist keep, in fact there doesnt seem to be ANY flaming fist about anywhere, as proved when i went on an angry killing spree of the Baldurs Gate citizens and still none showed up ...

Right, this is the problem, but it involves stuff near the end of the game, so if anyone isnt there, better not read.
