DS2 patch checks for your exe file size befor it applys the patch, if it dosnt match then the patch will not continue (it might look like its running the patch but alls its doing is unpacking befor it installs it).

I agree about the leveling up. Try not to pass lvl 8 for one, as a jedi you get certen feats that are given to you. I belive force focus is the last one you get at lvl 12 jedi, this gives you a +4 to save throughs...so if you swich at lvl 8 you wont get this untill 20th.

I never got any Sand People Robes till I fought the large group of Sand People in the Dune Sea at the entrace to the Sand People Territory....they dropped a dozen of them. I dont remember getting them anywhere else in the game.
