K, game works fine now but I can't seem to get the widescreen to install correctly, anyone else have another link to it?

Essentially what that error message means is that the event that occurred on that particular line didn't come true.

Try playing this game using compatibility mode.


I think that the problem is caused by something added to the downloadable version, as no such file or directory exists in my game ...

So I purchased the DvD-Rom single disc version and it uploaded fine but now crashes early in the game (still in the hive) and I'm using Windows 7, any ideas? It happens every time I try to enter a location/door or move into a different area. It says on the error box: An assertion failed in F ...

Thanks for the time answering my question. There is a DvD rom copy on eBay at the moment, is this the version that I want to purchase or the four disc release from 1999. Basically, which one would be the best hard copy to purchase for my Windows 7?
