Courtesans

Actually, it was the courtesans I was trying to avoid killing. The gates were locked and I didn't realize that there was another way in when I made the original post. Only problem I have now is that the courtesans are pissed off at me and the "Strange Bedfellows" quest is broken ...

What I meant is, if either one gets mad at you then you can't obtain the keys unless you kill them. Not a very nice thing for my paladin to be doing.

Does anybody ELSE think it's kind of rediculous that the Luskan quests for the High Captains can be wasted by talking to Rhaine or the other dude the wrong way? I don't want the keys that way. I'm trying to play a paladin and that just doesn't fit for me. There's a LOT of great things about this ...
