Hearthfire

So I download the DLC "Hearthfire" and I build two houses. Let's face it,after 1060 hours of play I am a millionaire so what else do you do with your money.
In these houses I have display cabinets, fine, except I cannot get anything into the dam things. I open the cabinet and select an item, hit the ...

Hearthfire

So I have paid the magnificent amount of $4.90 for "Hearthfire" . Steam tells me I have bought it, my computer tells me I have it, but what they don;t tell you is how to initiate it. I have travelled around and tried to find someone to buy land from, but no joy. Trying to get anything out of Seam is ...

No. The Enhanced Edition comes with two bonus campaigns that are about 1-2 hours each and feature full voice acting. It also has a lot of fixes like faster load times, re-balanced combat, etc. Some dialogue was re-translated and re-recorded, and the non-English versions especially were improved ...

The Enhanced Edition is a free update for all copies of the game, so yes, it will be identical. You should be able to register your copy on GOG.com and get the Enhanced Edition directly from there if you don't mind downloading, as well.
I understood that there was to be new content with the ...

What I've heard is that the stone from the embassy got moved to the Reeking Cave (the cave you use to exit the embassy) in one of the patches, so you might want to check there first before abusing your poor horse.

If you're on the PC, then you can also use the "tcl" console command to turn off ...

Hi Lemmus,

There is a mod which I found on "wikia", but you loose all previous exploration travel. In other words no fast travel to previously discovered places. What a pity

By the way, further to my last another aspect of this enhancing is that the value of your armour and weapons becomes even greater and guess what,

YOU CAN'T SELL IT, why because no one can afford to buy it. My Daedric armour and weapons are all around 4000 to 5000 gold.

The smithys usually have ...

Everyone wants the best for their character.

In my case I am a warrior, so the first thing I maxed was my armour and weapons, all Daedric. The way that I did that was to "max" (100) out in smithing. this enabled me to make "Lengendary" armour and weapons. Then I went for Enchanting max (100) which ...

Thanks Lemmus,

I have the map that you suggest. What I was hoping for was a "Perk" or "Mod" that would modify the in-game map to show ALL places, so that I could detect those that I had not visited or cleared.

Places to go and Places to see or find

:) I've been everywhere man, well almost.

I'm at level 63 and my map is so full of places I've been to that it is overwhelming to say the least. What I want to know is, is there anyway to tell if there are places I have missed. In the past when I have visited a place it is "whited out" and before I ...

Some time ago I reported that Lydia was missing in action, well I am pleased to report that which was lost is know found. Some time prior to her being lost I took her to "Skyhaven Temple" to become a "Companion" with Esben. Well it seems that when I lost her she went back to Skyhaven. I had to take ...

Steam remote control

Let5 me tell you a little story.

I have been playing Skyrim for some 388 hours and at level 51 and each day I load STEAM recognizes me. Suddenly it tells me that I am playing from another machine and will not let me play the game, (by the way I have NOT changed my machine) by reason of that it will ...

Greetings People,

I am now knocking about the Jordis, (after the sad loss of Lydia) and she says very little, except "Wow" and "I don't like the look of this" but is she a good fighter and I have to say she is something else in her Daedric outfit. Lydia used to stand ...

Updating or Patching

Today when I opened up I found that "Steam" were downloading some 155 mbs for Skyrim without the option of giving the "go ahead" or "wait till later" or given any information on what I was receiving. Has any one else had this problem??

I see today that "Steam" have a Beta patch out (on their site) which shows they have moded the follower so that when you go into sneak mode the follower acts accordingly, but I didn't see anything regarding map markers. Never mind theres always later.

I think I have mislead people when I announced my Lydia was dead. What I should have said is that she is missing in action, (because I could not find her) believed dead, since in the past, given time she would turn up. Which raises another annoying point, their location is not shown on your map ...

Morals & Ethics

May be it is my "Old fashioned upbrining" but I keep having qualms about some people I am sent to kill. For example the so called school teacher in Riften and then there is the "Giants" who to me don't seem to be hurting people, and then there is the stealing or pick-pocketing, there does not seem ...

Thanks SWC, I appreciate the advice. I had begun to believe that was the case, when he repeated several books but sent me to different places and I thought, just how long can this go on. Anyway I have gone back to the main quest and recovered the Elder Scroll in the "Elder Knowledge". (I don't think ...
