I already loaded the game and picked the shard again, but nothing changed.

Ido have patches, so how should i delete them?

In chapter 1, in the swamps, i picked up the shard but nothing happened.
Bevil didnt talked to me, and when i came back to talk to Daeghun, he asked me why i returned empty handed! i dont know what to do, so please help me
