Having finished ME 2 twice and currently playing it again on Insanity, I feel it offers challenge and story enough to make it worth the money. Are there things I have quips with? Yeah, but that pretty much goes for all games.

Most folks who enjoyed the first like the sequel, if that's any ...

Try going to the Friendly Arm Inn, then exit off the map via the western border. The woods should start to appear if you've finished all the quests correctly. ;)

I don't expect my suggestion will fly with too many folks here, but frankly, we have game forums that haven't been posted in for years . I'm all for condensing those down into one subforum because it's just clutter at this stage. Keep the "big names" and forums for games recently introduced.

I'm ...

Ladies, ladies! I'm all for the discussion, but I feel the conversation is moving out of the "Quality of DA" and into the "Arguing Semantics of Each Others' Posts" area.

Maybe I'm wrong. Regardless, both sides have expressed their opinions clearly. The onset of "but you said blah blah blah first ...

Infiltrator is my favorite class, but I attempted to bring my Infiltrator as well as a Sentinel through Insanity mode. Actually, I started them on Insanity+, having re-imported both characters after playing ME2 with each once already. Even with all the best skills capped out from the get-go ...

Mechanics of Suicide Mission Explained (Spoilers)

Hey, guys. I was poking around on the Mass Effect livejournal comm, and one of the contributors offered up this from the official boards. I thought that some of you guys might be interested. Developer Dusty Everman put up this explaining just how the endgame sequence determines who in your squad ...

I imported a character with a maxed our paragon bar in Mass 1. On the Xbox so the best I can give ya is that I got half of the first bar in my paragon morality as soon as I started. in essence, it's a pretty insignificant jump start. ;)

Nah, DLC's aren't required to advance in level. Just have to complete the game once, as Xan said. ;)

My personal favorite is the Renegade prompt on Tuchanka while you're doing Grunt's loyalty mission. My Shepard had earlier watched Wrex knock another krogan into line by headbutting him. Later, when that same krogan started getting uppity at Shepard, my dainty little femme commander just leans back ...

If what you're looking for is old school BioWare games, yeah, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. The company itself is in a completely different state than it was when Baldur's Gate 2 was made. Even this last attempt to get back to the golden age via the "spiritual successor" Dragon Age ...

Mass 2, to me, was fun to play. I'm a fan of the franchise, I feel like the in-game universe is "growing up" into an actual sci-fi setting instead of just ripping elements from "those who came before", and I think BioWare listened and corrected a lot of the original issues.

A lot of my initial ...

You can choose a new class and redo your face even if you're importing an old Shepard. It's normal. ;) Although I don't get how, say, a soldier can all of a sudden develop biotic powers.

I had it, but I never used. When it came down to having one - maybe two - shots for a mission or having 20 shots with a standard missile launcher, it's a no-brainer for me. You never know what's waiting for you in the next room, and there's nothing quite like the feeling of, "Crap, I'm really ...

You gain certain bonuses based on benchmarks you hit in the first game. I believe if you had something like 100,000 credits or whatever earned you a good chunk of cash to start with in the second game. You also start at level 5, are given a percentage of various resources to start with (which is ...

Yeah, having imported my ME1 Shepard, I can't imagine playing 2 with a new character. You can tell right off the bat that the game is meant to be personalized, even if it can cater to new players. That brings me to my disappointment in finding out that one of my two Shepards has yet to hit Virmire ...
