I personally found that paladin/blackguard works really well. If you can change your alignment fast enough.

There should be 3 endurance potions on a corpse. Drink all three but not in succsession. Wait untill your character has stopped moving before you drink anouther. For some reason it only counts as one potion if you do it to fast.

True names do vary depending on alignment.

If you get really desperate you can make a DM game, spawn the ring (should be under quest items), load your character into the game and then continue on your merry way

You can use the DM client to spawn items out of the game but I don't know how to make completly new items.

Mephi did seem rather weak. I was playing as a lv 25 sorcerer fighting him I cast Wail of the Banshee just to look important when to my horror and amusment I foung Mephi does not have immunity to death magic.

The class arcane Archer seems almost impossible to get with the needed magic and race. Whats the easiest way to create one?

Have you tryed using the ballistas that Nattyra mentions?

Just cast horrid wilting in the circle of preists. it deals about 180 to all of them
