That's pretty much it, it would seem: passion. I think that's why they do it. As for the quality of the characters; they were fairly interesting in the demo, but by now they've probably changed them around quite a bit, I'd imagine for the better. Graphically, this is going to be something that would ...

I would say it's not a business. It's a passion. These developers all have day jobs. They go home to do this. For more than a few years. So business? No, I would not say so. They aren't trying to make a ton of money off this. It's a game for a long extinct system. Only person making something like ...

Yeah, well just the years of effort itself is amazing, the $35 charge for the game (I believe it covers shipping) is literally just to break even. This is basically what happens when an "indie" project gets taken somewhat seriously and a team of international developers and translators are ...

The Genesis was Sega's successful system. It competed with the SNES. The Saturn was a North American failure. The reason they are making it on the Genesis is because the SNES had a bunch of RPG's but the Genesis was more sports and action oriented. So they figured, "Let's make an RPG for the Genesis ...

It makes perfect sense, unless you have a closed mind about it. It is a cartridge, if you read around the site. It is really pretty professional quality looking, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the genesis. It is for people that like retro gaming and want to be able to pick up a Sega ...

New RPG. You won't believe me if I put it in the title.

Okay, first off, I am not a spokesperson for the game I'm writing about so don't go there. Second....well that's it I'll just write what I found.

There is a new Traditional Japanese-Style RPG in development for the SEGA GENESIS/MEGA DRIVE. That means a new cartridge, like, in a box and stuff. Like ...

Problem on Tatooine (Die Sand People Die!)

I was wondering if anyone has had this problem, I'm on tatooine and have the sand people clothing and HK droid but when I head into sand people territory they kill me. Not at the gate but once I enter the territory.

Which has more side-quests?

Ok Tomorrow I am going out to buy one of two games now that I have aquired a slightly less crappy PC. *Fable: The Lost Chapters* or *The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind GOTY Edition*
What I am looking for is which one has more meaningless side-quests that do nothing great for you but probably don't take ...

Yeah Diablo II had pretty much 10 versions of every monster, so it's not like it was a big deal.

I was under the impression that very few RPGs use a dark or gloomy setting, no? I noticed that quite a number of them are light-hearted in nature.

I apologise if I sound rude, as it's not my intent, but what exactly do you mean?

Oblivion: OK, lighter for the most part
Morrowind: Dark ...

Again, it really depends on your style of gaming. All the suggestions above are good. The Baldur's Gate games are a few years old now, but still brilliant RPGs. If you like Diablo, try out Hellgate. Fable has fun game play, as well. If you like a good story, Mass Effect and Jade Empire are worth ...

Yes this question does come up a lot, but then again, it's a the thing that draws a lot of people to GB, and some of them do stay(see "rearviewmirror"). And some people have personalized questions, due to people having different PC specs, and needing personalized answers. And when someone brings ...

Well Morrowind 'fails' the 'test' and Oblivion 'passes' it, which leads one to the conclusion that the test is meaningless prattle by a journo filling space, as the first is in fact far superior to the second.

OK well my question is- which has a more realistic feel, as pertaining to the topic of ...
