Apologies. I did look, but with my astounding observational ability I seemingly
managed to miss that thread. Had tried all but the msconfig startup solution -
and of course that was exactly what looks to have worked!

Recently bought the Fallout collection DVD, but have had severe graphical issues;
namely with a black screen flickering and covering over the game area. Moving
