Hey guys,

I have the ascension mod installed, and Im struggling with my party setup as soon as I get into the throne area at chapter 10.

Basically my party is:

Me (Paladin)
Jaheira
Minsc
Keldorn
Imoen

Simply put, I cant get it working :/. Im using windows 7 and putting Debug Mode=1 under the program options in the Baldur.ini file, and when I ctrl+space in game, absolutely nothing happens. Any ideas why? I assume its something to do with Windows 7 as it worked fine on XP

I think one problem is that people expect way too much from Paladins/lawful good characters. I think some people expect them to be perfect, always right, and god help them if they put one foot wrong. I think I'm not getting my point across. It's that being in the majority or the minority means absolutely nothing, one way or the other. There have been plenty of instances where a very small minority were factually correct, and the overwhelming majority were wrong; and the opposite is true, too ...

Could you tell me what being in the majority in strongly favoring DA:O brings? Do you get access to a secret health spa? ;)

Both games suck but Oblivion is more entertaining. I could not recall any other BioWare game as boring as DAO. It is 75% crappy filler combat, 15% interactive movie of the worst sort (unless you can't get enough of the ancient cliches) and only 10% good stuff - some c&c, some dialogues, some quests ...

I also use the personal annoyance remover, which bassically gets rid of all the auras around your characters from things like rally, threaten and the horrible one on song of courage. Hopefully just some kinda freak accident thing. After I CLUAd them in I had no probs, and everything seems to be working in ToB aswell.. Just a quick question unrelated to this topic though. I was romancing jaheira, but it hadnt finished at the end of SoA. Will it continue into ToB?

in this situation Sonny, no i dont think you can get him back. Telling him to leave the party at any point in the adventure, then yes you can get him back, BUT at this point in his story line when he asks if he can go off with his familly, and you say yes, Im pretty sure you cant get him back.

Update: ... I found it! after months of looking I just downloaded near infinity and acm2wav and ripped them from bg and placed them in the BGII sound folder. Now I can finally start my second run through of shadows of amn (and first run through of ToB)!!
