In my opinion, don't let the com select your skills for you.

Choose your skills well. Take able - learner feat if possible and go with the conversational skills like bluff, intimidate and diplomacy. Of course, Concentration and Spellcraft remain your main concerns.

Spellcasters get their biggest and most spells at high levels. If you multiclass, you miss out on their biggest breaks.
