So yeah, I've been having trouble with the assassin droid in Marka Ragnos' tomb.
I want to go light side, aka talking to the bastard, but no matter what I do, the "too much audio input" bull**** kicks in every time i retry it. I've been able to talk to him before, but I forget how I did it.
Can ...

this seems more like an RPG thing than MMO. having a few million people as "the same" Jedi/Sith would be pointless.
but anyways, my idea is that you start as a kid, actually AREN'T a Jedi/Sith, and are trained in their ways. it can kinda be like Fallout 3, where there's all the tutorial crap as you ...

depends on the NPCs. general trash, yeah there'll be more than 1. but named people, there will only be one. once that NPC is killed it'll respawn in the same general place shortly.
and yes, quite likely you'll be competing with other people to do quests at the same time, so either work quickly, or ...

firstly, Bob, we'd have to know your current system specs to have any idea what to upgrade.
secondly, like you said, the game's a long way off, so it's hard for anyone to know what you might need to run it. i upgraded from my crappy 37GB PC to almost 600GB, and upgraded god knows what else (my bro ...

I would like a KOTOR II that is a single player game ;)
From that I would like there to be a romantic quest (like the one in KOTOR with Carth/Bastila)
Logical quests where you have to think rather that just build up a body count (though not too difficult so that you have to get help from a walk ...

@SupaCat: yeah it would be a little easier, but maybe the enemy is so tough that there's still a chance for you to miss, even with increased attack bonus. example: you have 10 strength (idk what the atk modifier is on that. maybe -1?), spam Power Attack 3 times, so your modifier is -10 or something ...

i just had an awesome idea in terms of the combat system yesterday, but forgot to post it. thankfully i didn't forget the idea itself:laugh:
so the idea is this: let's make the combat a bit more realistic. i think that your chance to hit should decrease the more you use the same attack over and ...

Agree with Darth. It's cynical. Maybe it's the future of gaming, but it's not a future I'd like to be a part of. K1 and K2 had set up for a sequel with so much promise in terms of an RPG, but I have absolutely no interest in playing an MMO.
agreed, for the most part. i however, will probably try ...

beats the hell out of me... i mean, i love the era, but to just drop the storyline and pick up 300 years later in an MMO that nobody knows what to think about, it seems a bit too harsh of a letdown on the fans, just for the sake of money.
afterall, that's what the MMO is about for them. let ...

so, what do you guys think so far?
I think it is cool but not rpg cool
i think it's a complete joke now, to say the least. i mean, seriously... 300 years after K2 ended, and they can't even really finish that **** off? at least finish it up and leave the "300 years after" BS to inevitable ...

curses. now to decide: WoW or KotOR? no way i'm paying for both. hmm.....
a shame though, that they're leaving the story hanging for potentially millions of players to pick up and finish off, optionally. and that we have to pay to find out what all happens, short of reading the lore on a website ...

fave map in BF2 was space battles, tbh. anyway, i love that idea, bigred. only thing is, don't make us need a translator this time. that's about 75% of the reason i just killed the sand people all the time. i think i only kept them alive ONCE in the many many times i've played the game

dude, i'd LOVE to have a Jar Jar Binks style of character. idk why people thought he was annoying. i thought he was quite amusing
