Vampire Bloodlines, Input signal out of range message, help, please....
Ok, I'm not great with computers so not sure what info I need to give but my problem is this, when a try and start Vampire: Bloodlines my monitor comes up with the message 'Input signal out of range', the thing is the games is running 'behind' it so the picture is there, the screens not blank and I ...

Hey all, some interesting replies, I should clarify what I mean be 'start' as you may have noticed I've not always applied it to the first 'level' or tutorial/prologue of the game. I meant about getting into the game and when it feels like its started properly so like BG I felt it wasn't until I was ...

Have BG and ID been re-released else where or is it just in Europe? It seems strange that Atrai have re-released those games and not P:T or any of Interplays other games, I know they own and have released the temple of elemental evil so I don't see where they couldn't make up a package of single ...

The Best and Worst Starts to RPGs (Spoilers)
Ok, so recently started playing RPGs again and got to thinking how some games seem to take awhile to get into the game proper and others get you straight into it. Example KOTOR has a tutorial before dropping you on a planet where your giving abit more ...

Does it work on Windows Vista???
Hi, I have yet to buy this game and its been impossible to find the game thats not priced as a 'new' or 'rare' game. So my questions are these, has anyone tried it with Windows Vista and does it work ok? I've got the recent Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale packs with all the games in and they seem to ...

I think the general concept of making a game is a good one, but I'd hate to see a Baldur's Gate III, especially one which might lose many of the running themes of the last two games. There would also be the problem of new unanswered questions at the end of the game which would require more sequels ...

I'm finding it interesting that people would pay full price for a directors cut of a film (maybe even more than full price sometimes) but not for a game. There must be alot of games out there that never got released in a complete form as intended, and most games will have cut content that people ...

Moral Ambiguity In Side Quests (spoilers)
Ok, replaying KOTOR again and it got me thinking, the Sunry trail has no clear good or bad path (as has been discussed else where), but then I found a 2nd, or chronologically speaking 1st side quest which doesn't have a clear 'good' path. The quest to find Elise runaway droid. The obvious bad path ...

KOTOR2 The Directors Cut
Lets face it if KOTOR2 was a film the original release would now be history and a directors cut would be standard with all the content that was intended. But heres the big question, if it was decided to create a directors cut, in theory, would we be happy to pay 'new game' prices? Or would there be ...

Knights of the Old Republic help needed in Vista
Hi, I got a new computer the other week with Vista installed and KOTOR wouldn't work, well after a few days and downloading updates for my graphics card it worked, but not quite fine.
My main problem, well the only one that can't be over come, is in 'out door' locations (Dantooine and Rakata Prime ...
