Okay, here is how it works for the attributes...

If you want to get up to 120 in strength, speed or willpower with full vampirism, you must level those attributes to 100 before becoming a vampire.

Having 100 or more in any attribute due to vampirism during level up prevents you from adding points ...

I've noticed that Mage guild NPCs can be particular about offering services such as recharging, and buying/selling spells, and training when it comes to time of day, and where they are.

Even if it's well after 8am, they wont give you anything if they aren't standing beind a counter, or down in the ...

Vampirism Attribute Caps (spoiler)

What I would like to know before trying out the Vampire is if when you reach 100 strength as a level one Vampire, can you still add 5 strength the next time you level up? Or, are you still capped at 100 even though 5 came from being a Vampire?

Also, if you have leveled your strength up to 100 ...

Will-of-the-Wisps are the biggest reason I try to always carry about 50 silver arrows along with the normal ebony/elven/dwarven arrows I carry for normal jobs.

They are real easy to spot in the distance, so you can usually get the sneak bonus on your first shot.

I think the toughest thing about ...

Gin-Wulm wanders around quite a bit. If he's not at the Best Defense look around the Market and Elven Garden districts. He doesn't go too far.

switching arena raiment

When you first enter the arena, you are given a choice between Heavy or Light Raiment. Are you stuck with that choice, or can you pick up a set opposite of what you were given and wear that in the arena?

I don't mean switch in the middle of a fight either. I mean if I chose Heavy, and showed up for ...

Ever wonder who "Hides-His-Heart" is? (spoiler)

This was wierd enough to share.

I was making my way through the Dark Brotherhood quest line, and got the the quest "The assassinated Man". When Hides-His-Heart comes into Francois Motierre's house to kill him, out of nowhere (highlight) Dar Marr introduces herself to me! Hides-His-Heart is actually ...

You can make any combination of race/class work in this game. It's more a question of personal style or preference.

I myself created an Imperial warrior type with the warrior birthsign and he worked out just fine. It's hard to go wrong with attribute bonus type birthsigns.

I made him an Imperial ...

Conjuration happens to be one of the easiest skills to gain levels in. It really goes up fast. For that reason, I would consider taking it as a minor skill. As a major skill you may find yourself leveling too fast.

Unlike spells colleges like restoration and destruction, which require you to ...

Nevermind I guess

After fast traveling to the Imperial City, another quest log entry popped up. Apparently a strange door has opened in the Niben Bay. Guess thats it, although I don't know why I didn't get that message right away.

how to get to shivering isles?

I just downloaded the expansion pack "shivering Isles" onto my 360, but how do you get started? I didn't receive any quest log updates or see any thing new pop up on my world map.

I also downloaded a few other small things and see those things come up in logs and maps, but nothing about shivering ...

Thanks

I'm good on the quest and have done it with one of my charactors. I haven't done the quest again because I like having him around, even if he is miserable. I'd rather have the town folk just pay the fines and forgo the rather weak quest reward than watch him die again. I know it's silly ...

Dark Elf in Cheydinhal singing a song (spoiler?)

Flying! High in the Sky!...I can't make out what he's singing about but it sounds like cliff razors or something to that effect.

Is there any signifigance to this song? Is it a spoiler?

I also voted for the DB guild. The whole infiltration/assassination style of questing is just too juicy. I get so drawn into these quests. Sometimes I get goose bumps doing them.

Spoilers - Highlight to read

On some quest spells, for example weak fireball (skingard recommendation) it doesn't matter what level you get them at. At least that's been my experience. Another one is the spell you get from Cheydinhal, bouancy. It's an alteration spell anyways. But a very nice ...

You can buy lots of bear pelts from shop owners in different cities. I have seen them in "Hammer and Axe", in Bruma, and I think "The March Rider" in Cheydinhal. I'm sure there are other stores. Look for the shops that deal in armor and weapons, and offer repair services.

If you are around level 10 ...

The wait mode is the "back" button on the 360. I also didn't know about the fast travel mode on the World Map at first, but I rarely use it. Hate to miss out on any loot from critters and bandits along the roads, plus it keeps your athletics skill going up and thats a slow one.

You can make frost damage poisons, and they will be applied to the bow on your next shot. If you miss with that shot the poison is wasted. weakness to frost damage spells will work (on a percentage and time basis) for the poison too.

You can find bows and arrows with elemental damage as loot, and ...
