Z'an Al'urin missing

Never mind. It was just the glitchy nature of the widescreen patch (or is there a fix for it? My interface disappears and **** is blinking a lot) that showed my own name tag on her.

Ehm, so I fixed that too. Turns out it was the compact interface part of the mod that did it. So.. this thread is ...

Changed the game a little. Maybe a mod could change the title to "Make your own RPG class"

Battle my RPG class.

No specific rules other than try not to make it overpowered. Also for fun, maybe write how your class might defeat the class of the previous poster in battle.

You'd be better of asking somewhere else. Gamebanshee's forums aren't the most lively.

Two worlds is one of the ****tiest and most disappointing games ever. Dark messiah however was a lot of fun. Kick was over powered, but I restricted myself not to use it.

It's actually good? It drew a lot of attention for some reason, even though it wasn't supposed to be a typical fps targeted at mainstream gamers. But it still drew a lot of negative attention from 13 year old kids saying "wow what ****ty graphics, was this game made last year or something?". Also ...

The problem lies with ghostdogs UI mod. The game worked fine until I installed it. What a shame. The widescreen mod messes up quite a few graphics and that mod fixes it all. But it seems like I'll just have to play without it, unless someone knows a fix.

I've played all the great ones as well. Today I'm only able to get minor erections from games like Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins. I tried playing Anachronox, supposedly an awesome underdog. But the combat is just too ****ty for me.

Seems to me you're awfully hard to please :p :D

Seriously, I didn't find Witcher all that more combat-heavy than many other games, and the system isn't that bad once you get used to it. But, obviously, your call ;)

That's the thing though. I'm not looking for any other game, but one that ...

Yeah, I'll try those. And about PsT. It has better graphics, plus there are plenty of cinematics as well as the stats screen has an image of the NPC. Not that PsT is a perfect example of it no. Shadow of Destiny is better at that.

Anyways, more suggestions are welcome.

Edit: I've edited the first ...

Maybe so, but no matter the hight of resolution, you still can't make out much facial features. To see the face is very important for me to actually care about an NPC. It has to look human (or whatever race it is), not just resemble one.

Played it. Pretty good for a new game. But not enough focus on characters or story. Cool concept though, underwater city and very nice atmosphere underwater with those graphics.

I also forgot to mention System Shock 2 and Deus Ex. Quite good.

I lied, graphics do matter to me unfortunately. I'm no graphics junkie, but I don't like to leave that much up to imagination. Of all the games listed Baldurs Gate probably has the most outdated graphics, and I don't like to go below that. It's necessary for the mood/atmosphere as well as characters ...

Games with awesome stories/atmosphere/characters/concept

Graphics don't matter and gameplay could be virtually non existent.
I do have a thing for plots involving time travel and/or amnesia of the main character.
Games I've already played and loved: Planescape Torment, Shadow of Memories/destiny, Arcanum, Fallout 1 2 & 3, The Longest Journey 1 & 2 ...
