That wall is usually there if you still need to talk to Nolaloth.

That means either did the conversation not trigger its end correctly to remove the barrier - occasionally the game seems to fail to run scripts which cause problems.

Im in nolaloths valley and after talking to him I cant move to destroy the crystal as I just cant move there. I've tried searching everywhere and havent found a solution, game is updated.

EDIT: Replaying the whole area worked.

Thanks guys, I ended up dropping tactics, SOS and sola while getting the banter pack and using only saerileth as a custom NPC to get more banter between party members.

So im starting a new round of baldurs gate 2 SoA & ToB and im looking for mods to install and the order of installation.

I hear that Ascension which improves lots of things, or so i hear. Also i tried Solafeiun mod and the battles it adds, well for me they were impossible.

Why dont u post on SoA forum, way more popular

They can also use items that are for example: Only evil, Only paladin etc

Maybe u should try out some mods. I hear that kelsey's good sorcerer with good banter. Maybe someone else has more experience since i have only tried solafeiun, yashaerana and chloe. Found em all great

I believe the quest log says that its "west from balthis estate" or something. I first myself went to banlthis estate and actually made em hostile

When i was fighting the shadow dragon (solo f/t/m), the "uses dragon breath" comes earlier than it actually happens, so i just ran off to the other side while hasted. You do get HLA's in chapter 2 if ur soloing.
