Ah, OK, thanks. I thought it was pretty obvious that you were supposed to use lightning to kill the golem, it says it in the bestiary entry on the golem, I think. I just wasn't smart enough to think to stand outside the triangle before using it ;)
I have to say I found the fight with the golem ...

How do I finish this chapter 3 quest? SPOILER
SPOILERS
I'm near the end of chapter 3, at the point where Triss says "Finish up any business you have in Vizima before proceeding." So I want to finish up, and the one quest I have remaining (that I know of) is that of the nurse in the temple quarter who says her grandmother has something in her ...

Not exactly. If you read some books or watch movies or play games with a medieval fantasy theme, there are some prejudices among each of the different races. Take for example the Lord of the Rings (both movie and book). One of the members, Gimli (a dwarf), dislikes elves very much. In Warcraft 3 ...

As far as inventories go, I think the less realism the better. I understand the natural inclination of game makers and writers to want to make things more realistic, and I've thought about this in regard to others games, but I can't think of any advantage of making things more real when deciding ...

Wow, good responses guys (and girl), thanks alot :)
About the autopsy thing, it is now in my journal as a failed quest. If you turn off the "show only active quests" button you can see past quests, with a tick if you've passed them and a cross if you failed them. I don't know how many of you have ...

Yeah, I think maybe I made a little mess of things by doing them in the wrong order. I got the quest to bring the gravedigger dwarven liquor, but it was at the same time as "get permission from the guards or Thaler to get into the cemetary." And I wanted to get into the cemetary, so I ignored the ...

Help in Chapter II, spoilers galore
SPOILERS
Obviously, don't read on if you don't wanna know what happens in chapter II.
So I think I'm most of the way through Vizima. I have eight of the ten Sepharthingies, I've cleared most of the suspects and know that Raymond is now actually Javed (which explains why my amulet gets twitchy ...

I didn't even know the grandma could cause problems or kick you out; first time I spoke to her she said something like "what did you bring me?" so I gave her something fairly valuable, like a ring or a chunk of cash, maybe 50 gold. Ever since when I enter the house she's all flowers and honey and ...

Game rules and mechanics
I have a few questions about the mechanics of the game, mostly combat. There are spells and effects that cause fear, hex, pain, knockdown, stun and others, yet I'm not sure how these things work.
Knockdown and stun make a creature vulnerable to a coup de grace, but is there a difference between the ...

I'm still fairly eary in the game but on the whole I have to agree with the original post. I, like the others in this thread who are complaining, do not have a problem with sex, violence or naughty langauge, but that is not what we're complaining about. The problem is the "adult" elements seem to ...

I'm running it on Vista. Home Premium. It is very temperamental though, mostly at startup. Often I have to try several times to get the game to start working, receiving a "Kotor 2 has stopped working" message soon after clicking on Game from the game menu. It has also stopped working similarly a ...

There were several threads that could have been ressurected on this topic, but this seems the most relevant. I am having the same problem as the person who started this thread. People are basically saying the problem is that the main character's repair skill is used no matter which character you ...
