You must go to bowerstone jail to initiate the quest, there he will tell you that he is at headsman's hill and you have to go up there again to fight him.

100% good, and finished the game, I just thought I would give it a try, since it seems some people have had trouble getting this.
So I took "Bjarne" the merc from Oakvale and sacrificed him a bit later than midnight. Got the bow and ca. 950 evil points on the first try.

I wonder if any of the game ...

I think I commented this in the first post in this thread, but I realized that I probably wouldn't get this key before I had done all the gold quests, so I hero saved when I had gotten the key in the lighthouse so I could get one extra from there.

I'm pretty sure I have all the books needed, tried to buy some books I had given him before now, but "The book of spells, this isn't some potty school for wizards you know" I hate that line.
At least I finished the hero dolls quest.
I guess I'll just drop that book quest then, I don't need it anyway ...

I know I have other books I haven't given him yet, like creatures of the north, in fact I think I have all the books now, it's just that he keeps nagging about the book of spells like I didn't have any other books.

I have a problem with the book collection quest...
I have delivered some books to the teacher, enough to have gotten the bright wizard hat, but not enough to get the silver key.
I know I have books I haven't delivered to him, but he just keeps saying that he doesn't want "the book of spells."
