I did that before I checked the walkthrough....to no avail. In fact, here is the full equation I'm ending up with ->(6*2) - 8 + 9 * 1<- Alternately, I've tried ->(6*2) - 8 + 9 / 1<- Do you suppose it matters that I went to this room first? I can't see that being the case, but hey...
