Life can be sooo simple, can't it?

Even as a rogue, in a succesfull pickpocket, i never got to steal something, target does not have items or gold is each and every answer
At first I thought that this was only applied in chapter I, but guess: nothing in chapter II, nothing during battle
Hence the question, what gives?

So how do you earn points towards lawfullness?
I've seen points towards good or evil but other than that...

What is alignment? I mean the first part : True, Lawfull or Chaotic.
How do u keep it up? What makes them change?
I had a lawfull evil monk intimidating a poor commoner out of money and i lose points towards chaotic. I could be wrong but intimidating and threatening o poor defenseless commoner ...

What does the pickpocket skill actually do, since you never steal anything??

Cast resurrection did the trick

I'm in the caves of the beholders and i had a drow henchman along. She's petrified now and no spell or amount of rest seems to bring her back

I can't find the keys for several doors in chapter II , in the port town:
next to the barracks of kendrick is a door that needs a proper key, which quest opens it
in Derbiab's cave are several barracks that won't budge, can you open them at all?
In town again are several barns that won't open
also ...

Where can i forge new weapons in chapter 2. I visited the cracked anvil but they don't forge anything, just sell and buy.
And what is the use of gems? What can u do with them?
