I take a straight fighter, a straight cleric, a rogue until about 4th/5th level then fighter after that (and yes, I eat the 20% penalty) and another fighter. When I pick up Jarial I use him to primarily cast Haste (you'd be surprised how much more effective your other four are with it activated) and ...

There's nothing current out there that you'd like but you could go back and get copies of IWD1, Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor, and Temple of Elemental Evil. IWD1 is as good as IWD2, Ruins had what I consider an undeservedly bad rep, and so did Temple of Elemental Evil. Other people ...

[QUOTE=w666tvr]Spoiler: (Highlight to read).

Take the blaster to Lt Grenn (in the TSF station), and he will tell you about the smuggling problem on Telos station. Take the blaster to Samhan Dobo (one of the two Duros merchants next to the cantina) and ask him to look at it. You can then work for ...

[QUOTE=AJMBLAZER2]Okay, I've got Visas as my main character here with Mandalor and Bao as my sidekicks. The two non-Jedi mainly just blast at everything with repeating blaster rifles and wittle them down while I go in close with force protection and my lightsaber.

Worked well so far and handled ...

My favorite way to get as many light sabres as I want is to use the BUG. You can copy light sabres this way:

First you need at least one sabre and at least one extra color crystal (I think it needs to be a different color than the one already in your sabre)

Second, I ...

Trial and error... turns out that Visas has to be the Jedi. You hold the lightsaber, have her upgrade it, click different color crystal, click assemble, click lightsaber, click upgrade, click color crystal, click assemble, save game. I've got 4 personal crystals now ...

I think that they should set up your force powers to allow you to temporarily add levels to your skills. If you think about it, it makes sense... using the Force to figure out that lock that you couldn't open before, using the Force to disarm that mine you couldn't before, using the Force to ...

[QUOTE=Ergophobia]Let's take this opportunity to post my opinion about skills, too...

Computer Use - You need it to upgrade T3 though, so that should be the main reason for taking it. A skill level of 8 or so should suffice, you can do the rest with boosting items.

Repair - Also needed for T3, and ...

the lens you have in your inventory isn't a basic lens...it's a fancy one. I made the same mistake. There's a basic lens you have to scrounge on Dantooine, IIRC.
