Install

Yes, I did the Humongous install on both machines, and they both did the same thing, so that's lead me to believe that the variable between the machines (the CD) is the cause of the problem.

CD Problem

Could the CD be the problem? Because I installed on my old machine, which I had run it on before, and I'm having the same problem, looks like I might have to bite the bullet and go spend the 5 bucks for a new copy...

Patch

Nope, no patch that I know of, I'll try to reinstall it again, maybe it will help since I got the new service pack. I'll look online for game updates, or I might just go through the hassle of running my old machine.

Still Un-Working

FO2 is still not working after I downloaded and installed the Windows SP2 upgrade, I have'nt yet tried to update my activeX drivers and whatnot, could someone post the link to the most current ActiveX?

Windows XP erroer

Hello, I've been trying to get Fallout 2 to run on a new computer, it's an Intel Celeron 2.8ghz processor, running Windows XP sp1, and what is happening is that I can get to the first load screen, the: "Please Wait" classic Indian head one, but then shortly after it will black ...
