just because the engine lacks the ability to recognize such an act of cruelty and greed as evil, doesn't mean, that it would not lure you towards the dark side anyways...

since you are a guardian, i'd recommend the light side anyway. light side force powers are more the defensive and protective kind as opposed to those of the dark side, which are mostly 'spells' to weaken and/or hurt (/kill) the enemy.

but, of course, the game's too easy either way.
