How do I get off the notification for this thread??

Seriously ... its a thread about the Soldier/Guardian build..... no others. Its not Ultimate PvP Build, or Ultimate in your dreams build. Its just a soldier/guardian that looks sexy and kicked butt with zero intelligence or preperation needed.

I ...

Dudes ....

I was just talking about a tank-build mindless no macro-manage meat masher. I wasnt suggesting which jedi has the biggest balls in a PvP hypothetical deathmatch. I wasnt talking about which would kill 25 rancors 0.005 seconds faster than the other build.

I was just trying to advertise ...

Only reason I can think of to take only 2 levels of your first class is that you intend to play a consular. You get more force powers, and more force points. There are no other advantages so for sentinel and guardian id take lvl 7 or 8 in your first class for the feats / skills etc.

Its not about damage. Its about stuns. STR gives more stuns.

Defence? Why? They hit so rarely and even then for such ****y damage i dont care. Heavy armour gives STR! More stuns ...... oh yeah.

It is quantifiable. I like it LOTS :)

Ok I concede that. I actually meant ULTIMATE in the context of easy to play, no macro management and in the end just damned sexy :) With this build the game was a no ...

I found DSM hard to keep. I had to act childish and money mad half the time. It got easier towards the end, but for the first 4 star maps it was ...

Then you missed my point. Armour looks cool and give STR :) Defence is for consules :)

Small note:

I played a scoundrel / guardian build side by side with this as far as the second star map. What I noticed was that the small bonus the soldier had on Attack bonus made a huge difference. Even level one with a mere +1 attack bonus I found he hit noticably more often than the scoundrel ...

Ultimate Soldier/Guardian Build

Ok, forget all the crap you learned when you played through as a consule :) The hack n slash game is ten times easier! Hell, you can probably go make coffee during most battles.

First of all : Strength! Strength and more Strength. Screw Dexterity. Get 18 str at the get go. Then con. Get the whole ...

2 points of Str or 4 points of Dex :)

Going for my 4th run through the game and ive decided on a scoudrel/guardian. I was wondering whether to have dex 16 and str 16 OR dex 12 and str 18. I figure ill end up in robes eventually so would the dex bonus be worth it. Its a toss up between 2ac and 1 damage :)

Advice?

Oh and im playing ...

Dont get me wrong, its still a superb game. Especially as dark side :) Jolee is kinda funny if you are light side, but Canderous and the Psycho android are without doubt the best duo to go adventuring with if you are bad to the bone! TK-47 has all the best lines and noone is whining at you when you ...

Actually they at least have a sense of humour about it. Later on on Koriban someone complains that dark side followers these days just seem to be mindless thugs rather than the true evil men of the past :)

Its just too hard. I give up. I keep getting light side points for doing things that are just basically polite. Its like unless I extort some schmucj for 50 credits (when I have 60,000 already) Im a good guy..... forget the fact that I only really did the quest to further my own power and the thrill ...

I justified it by thinking of the pre-jedi bit as my bad youth. Now im a trained jedi trying to suppress my rage and bitterness etc etc. Now I just pick fights with anyone who gives attitude, that seems enough. Oh and I lie like mad to the council :)

But I dont have to slap small babies any more ...
